• Guias com formação AMI.
• Sequência de material completa, em estantes, ao alcance das crianças.
• Grupos de idades heterogéneas, segundo os planos de desenvolvimento definidos no currículo.
• Ciclos de trabalho prolongado:
  • 1,5 a 2 horas por dia no grupo de 1-3 anos (Comunidade Infantil).
  • 2,5 a 3 horas por dia no grupo de 3-6 anos (Casa das Crianças).
  • 3 horas no grupo de Primária dos 6 aos 12 anos.
• Apresentações individuais ou em pequenos grupos.

• Observação contínua por parte do/a guia de forma a perceber o interesse, iniciativa, capacidade de trabalho e assimilação dos conceitos, juntamente com uma planificação e registo das suas atividades em sala.
• O programa de formação de guia ministrado por formadores AMI e que certifica como Guia Montessori, consta de uma exaustiva e rigorosa formação com disciplinas como a psicopedagogia, as neurociências, áreas específicas do currículo Montessori. Esta formação complementa-se com horas de observação e prática em ambientes Montessori. O objetivo deste processo formativo é entre outros, a introspeção e a transformação que leva a cabo um educador para converter-se finalmente num Guia Montessori.
